Doctors of Chiropractic use their hands and specially-designed tools and technology, to remove interference from subluxations (misalignment of spinal vertebrae or joints), that cause biomechanical dysfunction and soft tissue inflammation.
Chiropractic physicians perform specific chiropractic adjustments, or spinal manipulations, to remove interference in the nervous system caused by subluxation.
Dr. Danks carefully, accurately and gently adjusts spinal vertebrae and extremity joints, and he uses therapeutic modalities and techniques to further reduce pain, improve ranges of motion and promote healing.
In addition: Dr. Danks may recommend one or more of the following as part of your individualized treatment plan to support his adjustments and promote healing:
Acupuncture
Cupping
Electric Stimulation
Intersegmental Mobilization
Myofacial Release
Therapeutic exercises
Trigger Point Therapy
Our Three Primary Phases of Care
Phase I: Relief
If you are in pain when you come into Danks Family Chiropractic, our first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, Dr. Danks may perform gentle chiropractic adjustments and recommend specific therapies to reduce pain and inflammation as quickly as possible.
Phase II: Corrective
During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. Regular chiropractic adjustments and therapeutic modalities will correct underlying neurological interference for continued healing.
Phase III: Wellness
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to keep it there! See Dr. Danks for periodic adjustments to help keep your body in a state of optimum health and wellness, which, in turn, aids in preventing future health problems and conditions.
